Founded by Eric Rutayisire (CEO), together with Mamy Ingabire Muziga (Managing Director and Co-founder) and Teddy Segore (Chief Technical Officer and Co-founder), Charis Analytics—a subsidiary of Charis UAS—is a Kigali-based innovator using drone-powered, AI-driven technologies to give African industries real-time visibility into their assets and environments.

Its analytics platform leverages aerial intelligence to monitor infrastructure projects, agriculture, mining, and energy systems—bringing precision, accountability, and efficiency to sectors that have long struggled with limited data.
Through its work, Charis Analytics is redefining how technology and local expertise combine to power sustainable growth across the continent.
Charis Analytics is already making a mark across multiple countries, supporting projects that monitor over USD $1 billion in assets and operate in eight-plus African markets.
By integrating drone imagery, machine-learning detection, and analytics dashboards, it enables clients—from agribusinesses to infrastructure firms—to reduce cost-leakage, improve safety, and make decisions faster.
Charis has also adapted its platform for public health by deploying drone-based insecticide-spraying systems to track and reduce mosquito-borne disease in Rwanda.
Rutayisire and his team have drawn international attention: the founder of Rwanda’s first licensed drone firm, Charis UAS, has been recognized for its innovative approach, with Rutayisire making the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and the company receiving backing from major accelerators and funding rounds.
With its analytics platform, the company is now expanding into new sectors and seeking to redefine how African industries use geospatial intelligence—positioning Charis Analytics not just as a tech provider, but as a partner in the continent’s digital infrastructure leap.
